Just taking a moment to appreciate the organizational efforts of this collection of recorded VHS tapes we found yesterday! 😁

They had typed labels (probably made on a typewriter!) that included the title and rating of each movie on the tape! It also looks like these were cataloged in some way based on the numbers at the bottom.

So much tidier than just writing on the labels but a lot of work! Organization is a thing of beauty and ought to be appreciated occasionally! 🥳

Pitter pat, pitter pat … do butter pat dishes make your heart go tippy tap? 🥰

If so, then you may like these vintage porcelain butter pat dishes we just added to our booth! We love the crazing that shows their age, and the blue rim with the delicate golden pattern is just so sweet.

These are perfect for display or for holding little things you want to keep at hand. They also make adorable pill holders!

An interesting aspect of these is the handwritten note on the back of each plate. We couldn’t quite decipher it but maybe you can! 🔎

Those of you who have been with us for a while know how irresistible these provenance notes are to us … we will admit to sitting on these because we were uncertain if we wanted to let them go! Get them quickly, before we change our mind 😜

Is there anything more festive than a fez? You might even say it is the most “fez-tive” hat! 😆

Just think of all the functions and perhaps even secret meetings this hat attended! Perhaps it even rode in one of those tiny cars in a parade!

We always thought fezzes were only worn by male members of men’s clubs, but women’s clubs used them too. We believe this fez was actually worn by members of the Nomads of Avrodaka, the historical female auxiliary organization tied to the Dramatic Order of the Knights of Khorassan, which itself is a side degree and social branch of the fraternal Knights of Pythias.

The interior of this fez is in very good condition and does not look like it was worn much. There are some tiny spots on the felt on the exterior that have wear. There is also a round spot on the emblem on the front where there was either an embellishment that is missing or something else created a perfectly round spot. The tassel is in great shape!
