The name Rock Island Bridge isn’t just something we came up with.

This piece was actually modeled after a Rock Island railroad bridge, pulling details from the structure itself into the design.

From the steel straps to the railroad-tie-inspired feet, every part of it ties back to the bridge that inspired it. Then we build it with reclaimed oak cargo flooring, giving an already history-filled design even more of a story.

It’s one of those pieces that makes a lot more sense once you know where it came from.

Built From History. Built For You.

Thank you to the Ford family for choosing Boxcar Woody to build their forever table.

They went with our Scottsdale table, handcrafted right here in Stockyards City from 1940s Bloodwood Mahogany. Built with history, made to last, and ready for years of memories around the table.

We hope your family loves it for many years to come!

Thank you, Bill, for sharing these photos with us!

Remember that big, beautiful top Ryno showed off a couple weeks ago? Well, it’s officially finished, installed, and looking right at home.

This custom countertop was built from reclaimed boxcar flooring, giving the wood a whole new life while keeping all of that original character and history intact.

We always love seeing our pieces once they make it into their forever home. Thanks again, Bill, for letting us be a part of your project!

You’ve seen our Reclaimed Cargo as flooring… but have you ever seen it on the ceiling?

Same reclaimed character, just a whole new point of view.

Every once in a while, a custom build comes together and feels deserving of a name.

is taking us through manufacturing on this one and giving a closer look at how it all came together.

That’s one of the things we love most about creating custom furniture. Every project starts with a customer’s idea, and as we work through the details and bring it to life, it becomes something completely their own.

This one definitely has a personality of its own, so now we want to hear from you.

What would you name it?
