And it’s September.

Once again, my mother was right. The older I get, the faster the year passes. But the good news is- we’re open this first weekend! 11:00- 4:00, Saturday and Sunday.

Wonderful art this weekend, vintage ephemera, nice collection of Steiff bears, 3 pc. wicker set, country items, antique school masters desk, bamboo cabinet, painted dining table, Tiffany paperweights, restocked jewelry, and our usual mash up of miscellaneous fun stuff.

Congratulations to Erin of Homeport Adventures for organizing the Antique Shop Hop today. The group visited 5 stores today- including (my totally unbiased personal favorite 😆) Saybrook Recycled Furniture. From all accounts, a fun and rewarding day of treasure hunting by all involved. I hear rumors that another outing may be in the planning stage for later this year. I’ll keep you posted.

Had boxes of stuff piled everywhere all week as we unloaded a house load. Ironstone, 1930’s / 40’s ephemera, Asian furniture pieces, country items, cement garden bench, flower pots, marble topped dressers, clocks, art and plenty of fun decor. Got our act together and it’s been cleaned, shelved and priced. Yay!

Ready for you (phew!) this weekend, 8/15 and 8/16, 11:00-4:00.

Posting a little early this week…

Although this weekend is the first weekend of the month, Saturday is also July 4th (yay!) Have a picnic, go to the beach, enjoy the company of friends and family, celebrate safely. We will be closed for Independence Day, but we will be open on the 5th. We’ve fit two days worth of treasures into one day!

Open 11:00-4:00 on Sunday, July 5th. Entry numbers at 10:00. 😎

Brought some great stuff in this week- Dimes tigered cabinet, Von Hohen corner cupboard, an Irish pine double storage piece, antique pine hutch top table, lobster trap table, and some very pretty upholstered chairs for dining or casual use and more. Oh… and I have more diecast cars! 😆

some very cool mid-century lamps,

Chinese rugs,
19th c/ early 20th c irons collection,
Wedgwood,
And of course our regular selection of smalls, furniture and whatever else we can fit in 😁.
