Swipe for a few before-and-afters of our most recent kitchen renovation ✨

Our clients did not like the location of their kitchen and the general flow of their home - it just wasn’t functional. They contacted us and said they had the idea to move the kitchen to a spare bedroom, and to open it up to the dining room. We said, “Challenge accepted!” Now they also have direct access from the kitchen and dining room to their back patio, which they didn’t have before. I’d consider that pretty life-changing!

My mother-in-law/Todd’s mom entrusted us to refresh a couple of rooms in her beautiful 1890 home. These two rooms are connected by a set of beautiful, original pocket doors. Swipe through for some before-and-afters.

The updates included:
Removing an unnecessary door
More stylish ceiling tiles and crown moulding
Removing carpet and refinishing original hardwood floors
New paint
Replacing the stained glass window that just wasn’t the right vibe or energy efficient
Replacing the light fixtures with updated fans
(her preference)
New furnishings and decor

The finishing touch was adding a gallery wall of her 9 grandkids (including our 3 boys!)

It took far too long, but Crew’s big boy room is finally done! The design was inspired by his oldest brother’s quilt from his first big boy bed - it means a lot to pass this down to Crew, and luckily he loves vehicles just as much as his big bro did 🚙

In our experience, most clients come to the project with some pieces of the design puzzle already figured out. They may know they want this or that, and just need help with the other pieces to create an entire picture. This project was no different. It was our client’s idea to do two-toned wood-and-white cabinets, which totally steal the show. She also knew she wanted a classic, white subway tile backsplash, warm quartz countertops, and warm walls. We improved the layout and played everything else off of those design elements that were a great jumping off point. Wether you have your own ideas or not, we feel confident we can create your dream home ✨

This kitchen is actually just one part of a larger renovation - we will share the additional spaces as we finish furnishing and decorating them✨

We’ve been dying to share this kitchen transformation with you but were on hold waiting for backordered island pendents. After four months, they unfortunately arrived damaged, so we decided to pick something else (which may have been a blessing in disguise). Here are a couple very satisfying before-and-after photos to swipe back and forth through 😍
