Watercolor Portraits

Single Pet Portrait - No Background $75

Rush Order:

Orders have a 3 week (21 day) turn around. Orders are usually completed in a shorter time frame, but will not exceed 21 days.

Non-Refundable Deposit:
50% of total order due before work on piece begins. (21 days does not start until deposit is paid and all pictures are approved)

Remaining balance due at meeting before handoff.

Process:
Customer emails pictures of the portrait subject(s) and specifies what they want in their portrait.
I respond with any questions I have about their request and whether I can complete the portrait with the submitted photos and answer any questions the customer sent.
Once all photos have been approved (must be clear photos) and 50% non-refundable deposit is paid, I sketch portrait subject(s) on 12x12 watercolor paper.
I send sketch to the customer for approval.
Once customer approves, 21 day period will begin, and I start painting the portrait.
Once I complete the portrait, I send an updated picture of the portrait to the customer and ask if they have any questions or concerns about the portrait.
If there are concerns, I address them and send another picture of the portrait.
Once the customer is satisfied with the portrait, remaining balance will be due. Portrait can be shipped for $6 (balance must be paid BEFORE portrait is shipped) or payment will be due at handoff.
Customer receives signed, original portrait.

*** Each portrait will be done on 12x12 watercolor paper. Exact measurements of
watercolor painting will vary.


*** Each portrait is sketched by hand in pencil and then hand painted. Portraits may
contain pencil marks in the painting.

Hi, everyone! My name is Nicky Estes and I am the artist behind Estes Artistry. Thank you for visiting my page!

I’ve always LOVED arts and crafts, but I didn’t discover my talent until I was in 11th grade. I just wanted to get out of Spanish 2, so I switched to Drawing. The first day of class, Mrs. Cobb told us to pick a random item off the shelf and to “draw what you see.” Those four words have stuck with me since that day.

I love being creative and using different mediums to make art!
