For those who donโ€™t know me, my name is Kelsey and I reside in the beautiful PNW. I am a self taught Artist and my passion is for painting pets. I have a beautiful little family and weโ€™re extremely consumed in our childrenโ€™s passion for playing soccer and all that comes along with the love of the sportโ€ฆlate night practices, training, coaching, travelingโ€ฆif you know you know! If youโ€™re also a sport parent, I send you my condolences and support๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ thereโ€™s nothing more exhausting, rewarding, and exciting all in one!
I grew up on a farm and have been surrounded by animals my entire life whether it was in 4-h, at the rodeo, caring for my funny farm, and even working alongside caring for pets at a vet clinic. I am what many call your modern day โ€œSnow Whiteโ€ ๐Ÿฅฐ In this season of my life Iโ€™m going to move forward with my art a little bit differently than before and Iโ€™m going to focus primarily on acrylic hand painted wood slice/basswood rounds and will no longer be offering canvas art for the time being. This is what I LOVE to do most and I pride myself in these little slices of love. This may change as my schedule adjusts as our children grow and I have more time, I will announce when the time has come and I do open up more options again. I want to thank every one of you from the bottom of my heart for your constant support of my artworks. Every piece I complete holds a special place in my heart! Every shared experience you share (privately & publicly) of when a piece is gifted reminds me that I do this for a reason, not just for the money. I am honored to know that you continue to choose me to creating these lasting memories.

Story time ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฅน A couple months back I was driving along and passed by a kitty who had been hit and "passed away" on the road... naturally my stomach sank and my heart broke a bit. I noticed right away that it had a bright blue collar and knew I should stop to see if there was a tag. To my surprise it had a tag with a name & number....and he closely resembled my guy
"Scooby" my soul kitty who mysteriously
walked off one day and never came home.

I didn't have a blanket or anything to wrap him up in, but I was able to move him further to the side of the road. I knew I had to reach out to his people to let them know, so I sent a heart felt text and a screen shot with a map pin of his location. A few moments later his mom called me in tears distraught and in disbelief... have you ever cried with a stranger? I have๐Ÿ˜ญ
They were able to bring โ€œFlea" home and give him a proper burial where he may rest in peace๐Ÿ˜‡
Something about Flea and the whole situation really stuck with me so I reached back out and had mom send me her favorite photos so I could paint up this sweet memorial for her precious "Flea"
I hand delivered him and finally met her in person and gave her a big hug, lots of tears and talk about him and his short but sweet life. He is so loved, rest easy Mr. Flea โค๏ธ
