Finally! Fall is just about here. The temps have cooled, rain is in the forecast, and you can just begin to pick out a few leaves turning color on the trees. It’s definitely my favorite time of year.

Summers are usually busy for most. We’re on the go, getting in family vacations and spending the long hours of the day outside gardening, bbq’ing and socializing. I love Fall when the rain sets in because it’s an opportunity to get cozy inside and just relax for awhile.

Whether you’re reading a good book, sipping on a hot cup of tea, or just hanging out on the couch watching your favorite movies, now’s the time to make your home as cozy as it can possibly be before the craziness of the holidays sets in.

When you start walking around with two different shoes on, completely unaware, it’s clearly a sign that you need a break. 😂

This summer has been so busy! My dad had heart surgery. My husband was in a car accident and had hand surgery, and we’ve also taken on three adorable foster kitties. Not to mention running our small business, helping our kitten rescue friends, taking care of the house and yard, and family. It’s actually been quite a good summer and everything has worked out well. However, it’s time for a little break!

I’m taking an extra long weekend with my husband and will be back in the swing of things next Wednesday. Until then, I will be out of the shop and The Tiger Tea Bar will be closed. As usual, you are more than welcome to visit the shop during open hours of Ossa Skinworks . And of course you can always shop online.

I’m looking forward to a busy Fall season helping you all find amazing vintage rugs and more for your home. It’s going to be great. See you next week! ☮️💃❤️
