Another after and before! This time you can see how much a beautiful handmade vintage runner elevates a bathroom space versus standard bath mats. Such a huge difference!

There are some really great runners currently in the shop if you need to level up your bathroom. However, this gorgeous runner was found for my wonderful client utilizing our Rug Sourcing Concierge Service. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a particular size, colors or style. I’ll work with my sellers to find options specifically for you.

Head to the website or stop in the shop to find a beautiful piece for your home. Or DM me for more info on the Rug Sourcing Concierge Service.

After and before! Swipe to see what this space looked like before this beautiful handmade vintage rug entered the scene.

The clients utilized my Rug Sourcing Concierge Service to find this stunner for their living room. They recently had their wood floors refinished and wanted a seasonal rug to add a cozy layer during the cooler months of the year. We worked together to determine what they wanted for their space within their desired budget and then I worked with my sellers to find options specifically for them. And the final result is truly stunning. This piece adds a giant injection of color and awe to a very neutral room. Now it feels even more beautiful and complete like the final touch has been added.

Do you need a special rug to complete your space, but are overwhelmed by the process of finding it? DM me for a link to our Rug Sourcing Concierge Service and find out how I can make your search easier.

Our three adorable kitties are ready to become a part of your family!

Come meet our foster kitties, Mama Sorbet and her kittens Custard and Spumoni, tomorrow (Saturday) from 1 to 3 at Velvet & S**g.

If you’re interested in them, you will be directed to Critical Care Kitten Coalition to schedule a personal meet and greet and apply for adoption.

Spumoni, our little boy tuxedo, is such a sweetie pie and loves pets and affection. He is playful and fun and completely motivated by his favorite food, Churrus!

Custard, our little girl tortoiseshell, is so sweet and extremely playful. In fact, her love language is play. She and her brother are little partners in crime and love playing and hanging out together.

Sorbet, who we lovingly call Mama, is an amazing mother to her babies. She was actually still nursing them when she came to live with us. She protected them and kept them alive in a very dangerous situation before we met her. She is extremely affectionate and a loyal, loving companion.

All of the kitties have been spayed/neutered and completely vaccinated. They have a lot of to share and are looking for a home with the same. Will it be yours?

Come see them tomorrow! We are located in the loft of Ossa Skinworks at 109 Capitol Way N. in downtown Olympia.

See you then!

Some may mostly associate the color red with handmade rugs, but they actually come in all sorts of colors. Pastels are often typical of Turkish rugs like this one. So lovely and inviting for spaces looking for a lighter touch.

This one is available! Scroll, swipe and tap for more info and to purchase. Or come see her in person at the shop!

Ready for adoption! These two are bonded for sure so we’re hoping they can go to the same home. Custard, the little girl Tortoiseshell, and Spumoni, our little boy Tuxedo, are about five months old and they spread absolute joy wherever they go. Even in a house full of other kitties that they can play with, they choose each other over and over again. Their mama Sorbet is usually with them, too, and together, they make such a sweet little family.

We’ve been fostering them all since July in collaboration with Critical Care Kitten Coalition and have had so much fun with them.

Come meet the whole crew this Saturday from 1 to 3. We’re located in the loft of Ossa Skinworks at 109 Capitol Way N. in downtown Oly.

See you Saturday!

Way too good not to add to the feed! Congratulations to Christine Rayburn and Dave Forsberg for scoring this gorgeous painting by the one and only ravenna_beck .

Ravenna is my Fall Arts Walk artist at Velvet & S**g and it’s been such a delight to work with her. If you’re sad you missed out on this piece, don’t worry! The rest of her art is still up in the shop. And it’s all for sale, too!

Stop in the shop to see Ravenna’s work. Or you can also see more on her website, which is linked in her IG profile ravenna_beck .

Some vintage handmade rugs look as though they’ve never been used. And then there are ones like this that clearly show they’ve been around for a while and have their own stories to tell. But not only that, they show their strength and their ability to be there for you through the next generations.
