There’s nothing quite like watching the grain come alive when the finish is applied!

These standing crosses were cut from walnut and finished by hand right here in our Omaha workshop. Each piece of wood has its own grain and character, so no two crosses will ever look exactly alike.

Walnut standing crosses are available for $35 each. I’m also working with maple and Russian olive, which will each create a completely different look.

🎉 WE DID IT—OUR FIRST WOODWORKING PLAN IS OFFICIALLY PUBLISHED!

After building our outdoor TV stand and sharing the project online, several people asked if plans would be available. That encouraged me to turn the project into something other woodworkers could build and enjoy.

Today, I’m excited to introduce LFW-001—the first release in the LaBrie Family Woodworking Workshop Plans Series!

The 28-page downloadable plan includes:

• Complete materials and hardware lists
• Low-waste 10-foot 4×4 cutting diagrams
• Printable drilling templates
• Step-by-step photographs and instructions
• Measurements and alignment checkpoints
• Customizable TV-mounting panel and tabletop instructions
• Finishing recommendations and a final safety inspection checklist

This original design was built and tested in our Omaha workshop. It works well for patios, decks, outdoor gatherings, tailgating parties, or anywhere you want a portable entertainment setup.
