Today was my very first vendor show for Lush Essentials, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
I was nervous, the wind tried to steal my tent a few times, and there were definitely some chaotic moments getting set up. But from the very beginning, I was surrounded by amazing people. A fellow vendor jumped in to help with my tent, my daughters worked so hard all day, and the entire vendor community was incredibly kind and welcoming.
I sold spiders, scorpions, suncatchers, made trades with other artists, accepted cash, Venmo, PayPal, and even got my first tip! Most importantly, I got to watch complete strangers connect with something I created with my own hands.
Seeing Kendra so excited for me and watching Jada experience it all made the day even more special.
I came home with a full heart, new friends, great memories, and so much gratitude.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported local artists, shared kind words, made purchases, traded, tipped, or simply took the time to look at my work.
Today reminded me that sometimes you just have to take the chance and put yourself out there.
