✨ Design Tip of the Day: Paint Sheens Matter More Than You Think!

Here’s the combination I recommend for most homes:

• Ceilings: Flat finish
• Walls: Eggshell or Flat finish
• Trim & Doors: Satin or Semi-Gloss finish

So… what’s the difference?

🎨 Eggshell vs. Flat Walls

• Eggshell has a slight sheen that makes it more durable, easier to wipe clean, and a better choice for high-traffic areas like living rooms, hallways, and kitchens.
• Flat has no sheen, giving walls a soft, designer look while hiding imperfections better—but it marks more easily and can be harder to clean.

🚪 Satin vs. Semi-Gloss Trim & Doors

• Satin offers a softer, more modern finish that’s become a favorite in today’s homes.
• Semi-gloss is shinier and extremely durable, making it a great option for busy households or if you want your trim to stand out a bit more.
