This beautiful wide-plank pine floor started with a dark stain that fit the cabin vibe, but it was ready for a little TLC. Our crew came in and sanded away the old finish, revealing the warm, natural character of the pine underneath.

These progress photos are only the beginning—check back for the final reveal! We can’t wait to see how the refreshed floor brings a whole new cabin feel to this space!!

🔧 TOOL OF THE WEEK: Meet the Hummel!!

If you’ve ever wondered how an old, scratched hardwood floor starts making its comeback…this is one of the stars of the show! 👀

The Hummel is a professional belt sander we use during hardwood refinishing to remove the old finish and help create a smooth, even surface for the next stages of the process.

It’s big. It’s powerful. And in the right hands, it does some pretty impressive work!!💪🪵

The finished floor may get all the attention, but there’s a whole lot of equipment, experience, and prep work happening before that final coat ever goes down!!
