Some of our team is in North Carolina for High Point Market, one of the world's premier destinations for furniture, lighting, textiles, artwork and home furnishings. It's an opportunity to explore extraordinary collections, discover emerging trends, connect with the makers behind the pieces and find those special things that deserve a place in our Design Studios and our clients' homes.

With so much to see, the real challenge is deciding what makes the cut. Our designers have a wonderful eye for finding pieces with beautiful craftsmanship, distinctive character and the kind of lasting appeal that makes them worth bringing back to Omaha and Lincoln.

Fall is for textures, and we’re here for every layer of it. 🍂

As the weather cools, we naturally gravitate toward the fabrics and finishes that make a room feel warmer and more inviting. Chunky knits, beautiful woven textiles, soft bouclés, dimensional embroidery and richly textured upholstery all have a place in the conversation.

Texture is one of our designers’ favorite tools for creating depth and interest, particularly in rooms with a quieter color palette. The interplay of different weaves, fibers and finishes can give even the most neutral space an extraordinary amount of character.

And while these close-ups are beautiful, experiencing them in person is even better. Come explore the fabrics, furnishings and accessories in our Omaha and Lincoln Design Studios. We encourage you to look, touch and discover what catches your eye.

Two anniversaries this month, representing 55 years of talent, friendship and history at Interiors Joan and Associates. ❤️

Jenny is celebrating 21 years with the firm! ✨ For more than two decades, she has shared her talent with our clients and been the kind of colleague every workplace hopes to have: thoughtful, dependable, generous and an important part of the relationships that make this firm feel like family. Jenny, we hope you know how deeply appreciated you are.

Officially, Kris is celebrating 34 years with Interiors Joan and Associates... Unofficially, it’s been a lifetime.

Nearly 63 years ago, her grandmother Joan founded this firm. Kris grew up with Interiors Joan and Associates woven into the fabric of her family, eventually making her own career here and carrying that legacy forward as the third generation to lead it.

Thirty-four years may mark her professional anniversary, but it hardly captures the depth of her connection to this place, the people who have built their careers here, the clients who have trusted us with their homes, or the influence she continues to have on what Interiors Joan and Associates is becoming.

Jenny and Kris, 55 years between the two of you is extraordinary. Thank you for the talent, heart, loyalty and friendship you have given this firm and everyone fortunate enough to be part of it.

Our Omaha and Lincoln Design Studios are filled with a continually changing collection of objects our designers have chosen for their form, texture, materials and personality. Sculptural pieces, vessels, artwork, lighting, textiles and unexpected finds that can add depth to a room or become the detail everyone asks about.
Some are subtle. Some absolutely refuse to be.

Stop in and explore. You may come looking for inspiration and leave having found exactly the piece you didn’t know you needed.

Our Lincoln Design Studio is filled with spaces like this, where furniture, artwork, texture, natural materials and those smaller finishing pieces come together in ways that can spark an idea for your own home.

Come in and wander, sit on the furniture, feel the fabrics, and get a closer look at the artwork. Ask one of our designers what they’d do with the room you’ve been thinking about.

You don’t need an appointment, and you certainly don’t need to be in the middle of a major project. Sometimes inspiration starts with simply walking through the door.
