Come in and browse... You’ll find furniture, lighting, artwork, accessories and pieces our designers have selected because there was something exceptional about them. Some may be exactly what you’ve been searching for. Others might introduce an idea you hadn’t considered at all.

Our designers are here, too. Bring a photo of your room, measurements or even that lingering question about what a space needs, and we’re happy to help point you in the right direction.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND HOURS 🇺🇸

A quick heads-up as we look toward the holiday weekend: our Omaha and Lincoln Design Studios will be closed next Saturday, September 5, giving our team a little extra time to enjoy Labor Day weekend with family and friends.

We’ll return to our regular hours after the holiday, refreshed and ready for everything the fall design season has in store.

When you visit our Omaha or Lincoln Design Studios, you’ll find far more than beautiful furniture, fabrics, finishes and accessories. You’ll find experienced designers right there with you, ready to offer a fresh perspective.

Bring in a photo of the room that’s giving you trouble. Bring measurements, a fabric swatch, a paint color, or simply an idea you haven’t quite figured out how to bring to life. Our designers can help you explore possibilities, make selections with confidence, and introduce you to combinations you may never have considered on your own.
.. and you don’t need to have a full-scale design project underway to benefit from their expertise. Maybe you’re searching for the right chair, trying to choose a rug, or wondering what could finally pull a room together. Stop in, browse, ask questions and get inspired.

There’s an art to knowing exactly where something belongs.

The final layers of a room may look effortless, but thoughtful accessorizing involves the same design eye as every decision that came before it. Scale matters. Proportion matters. The relationship between objects matters. Even a few inches to the left or right can change the balance of an entire composition.

Our designers consider how each piece interacts with its surroundings, mixing height, shape, texture and negative space so a shelf feels collected rather than crowded and intentional without appearing overly arranged.

And yes, installation days occasionally require a little reaching. 😉

Beautiful rooms are built in the details, right down to the very last piece placed.

Have you visited our Design Studios lately?

If it’s been a while, there are plenty of new reasons to stop in. Our designers have been busy curating new arrivals, with furniture, lighting, artwork, accessories and unexpected pieces continually changing the landscape of both studios.

Sometimes you’re looking for that one piece that finally finishes a room. Other times, you walk in without looking for anything in particular and discover the piece that inspires you to rethink the entire space.

Our studios aren’t static showrooms, and that's part of the fun of stopping in to explore, gather ideas, experience pieces in person and see what sparks your imagination.

The bar is moving… against the wall. 🍸

One entertaining trend we’re seeing more of is the back bar, a built-in or furniture-style beverage station that gives you much of the function of a traditional home bar without dedicating the room, or the floor space, to a bar you have to stand behind.

And yes, its popularity is more than anecdotal, with Houzz reporting searches for;

- Dedicated whiskey bars up 82%
- Beverage and wine fridges up 46%
- Beverage bars up 39%
- Small wet bars up 36%.

Its 2026 Kitchen Trends Study also found that 24% of renovating homeowners adding specialty built-ins are incorporating beverage stations.

We understand the appeal.

A back bar keeps the room open and conversational, gives you dedicated storage for bottles and glassware, accommodates refrigeration, ice makers or a sink when space allows, and creates a natural place for guests to help themselves without everyone congregating in the kitchen. It can also become a beautiful architectural feature through cabinetry, stone, tile, lighting and display.

Perhaps our favorite advantage is its versatility. When cocktails aren’t on the agenda, the same space can serve wine, coffee, sparkling water, appetizers or dessert.

I spy something new… 👀

One of our favorite parts of the design studios is that there’s always something new to discover. An unexpected accessory, beautiful piece of art, a lamp with just the right personality, a mirror, table or finishing detail that suddenly solves the spot in your home you’ve been staring at for months.

Our designers are continually curating the studios, so what caught your eye on your last visit may have already made its way into someone’s home, with something entirely new taking its place.

Our Omaha and Lincoln Design Studios are open to the public, and you never know what you might spy.

Seven years of talent, creativity, and a whole lot of beautiful spaces! Today, we’re celebrating Tish and her 7-year anniversary with Interiors Joan and Associates!

Tish brings a thoughtful eye to her work and a genuine commitment to creating spaces that feel personal to the people who live in them. Her creativity, experience, and attention to the details that make a design truly come together have made her an important part of our design team.

We’re grateful for everything she has contributed over these seven years, for the clients she has cared for along the way, and especially for the wonderful person and colleague we get to work alongside.
