In October, 1943, 300 Jewish prisoners escaped the N**i death camp Sobibor. Only 47 of them survived World War II — including Semion Rosenfeld.

But due to its remote location and harsh conditions, Kiska is not a popular stop on World War II relic tours. You're not supposed to set foot on the island unless you are conducting research, and for that you will need permission from the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service."

RIP Henry Ochsner

World War II veteran Henry Ochsner, who stormed the Normandy beach on D-Day and fought through to the end of the conflict, has died at 96.

Set up for weekend at the MVACA Gun Show in KC. Great turnout of vendors and public. A lot of amazing artifacts for sale and featured in exhibits on display. You should come out if it's not too far of a drive.
