June is class time. Summer Delights. Five special dishes featuring some popular fruits and veggies plus tender tasty shrimp. My friend Dave Fuller sold his seafood business. He got us some fine goodies before. I now will have access again to special treats for classes and you.

Classes begin on June 7th and run through June 18th. Other times are available if you need. We added a Spanish class in May for a special birthday celebration. It was great fun. All you have to do is ask.

Crab and Chorizo Mac and Cheese

Wednesday Steak Night:
8oz Filet Mignon
8oz Hanger Steak
Served with your choice of side salad, green beans or mashed potatoes, and your choice of bourbon ju or chimichurri.

Thursday Burger Night:
Classic Local Burger— double patty, American cheese, wickles pickles, LTO, herb mayo
“Frita cubana”— chorizo and ribeye patty, pepper jack cheese, spicy ketchup, grilled onions, fritos

It’s time for our visit to Spain. Barcelona in fact. Yes, we are making dishes strongly associated with that fine city. Several of our regular “members” are visiting Spain and the Mediterranean this year. Others have made the trip already. No matter – these are fine dishes made easy to prepare by you.

Here’s the schedule for March. Please reach out to me and claim your spot.

Chefs, Gourmands and Hungry Friends –

It’s approaching Twelfth Night on today’s clock - 010526. I hope each of you has an appropriate celebration in mind. Our kitty Belle is dreaming about hers. At least she looks like she is.

Aimee and I are already planning and practicing dishes for classes beginning on Sunday, February 1st. Our focus is Modern French. Traditional dishes using ingredients available right here and perhaps employing a lighter touch. Also made in ways that will call you back again and again.

Here’s the schedule. Make your choice as soon as you can. Some class times fill quickly. Please remember our classes are events. Just like a concert or sports game. Payment is expected for your seat. It’s the only way we can effectively operate. We appreciate your understanding. Most everyone handles things this way already.

Also we appreciate your generosity and the acknowledgement of the cost to put on these classes in the manner we operate. We still set a base price of $45. Thankfully most of you set the bar higher. Usually $50 to $60. Some higher. Those numbers are lower for many similar chef-centered “cooking classes.”

Quite simply – thank you. You make it possible to keep going. We offer these in a love for what we do.
