Today I am officially done with my Masters in School Counseling and PPS credential! I’m sharing in stories just how grateful I am for all the people who have helped me get there!
With four children, a business, a full time internship and graduate school life has been really busy the last two years! But God has been so so good and has blessed me through tangible miracles through people (my husband, parents, my four kids, and my amazing friends and family) I often feel so undeserving of so much love, but through these people’s service and selflessness I felt so tangibly Gods presence, love and purpose in these last two years. I pray that I can be His hands and feet with the students I serve. If I can ask for anything I would ask that you would consider joining me in praying for the right job and praying for the kids that I will serve next year.
More momma is not done, but it will be evolving. I have had a huge passion the last year of my internship incorporating cooking into counseling students. It has opened up so much opportunity to reach kids that have had the most horrific experiences in their childhood. My goal with More Momma will be to still create recipes, but with purpose and intention in creating a space where students could come and learn tangible life skills and emotional regulation.
25 years ago while I was in high school cooking became an outlet for me of healing through my parents divorce. 25 years later, I want it to teach students how it can be a healing tool for them too! I hope you stay along for the ride or share with the young people in your life this amazing resource! If not, I so appreciate you being here for the last almost decade! You have humbled me through your prayer requests, spoken life into me with your comments, and supported me making my recipes. I love you all!
Love Meg
