while getting my tragus done my piercer had to grip my ear and irritated my still healing rook! unfortunately an irritation bump formed! i’ve been applying tea tree oil and cleaning around the bump but it almost always bleeds a little as i’m cleaning it 😭 i haven’t had luck with cartilage piercings in the past and this was one healing beautifully before this all went down! (i am not shading my piercer in any way! i adore her and she felt so bad about it after we got the tragus jewelry in! right before we started my tragus we were literally just talking about how great it was healing)

background info on piercings
rook - over a month old and has a regular curved bar in! has not been downsized yet but it wasn’t getting snagged so i was going to leave it alone! usually i just clean with saline and a q-tip but right now i’m using tea tree oil! FORGOT TO MENTION!! before it all went to hell was i was practicing the LITHA method and only cleaning it when it was crusty! hoping to get back to this 🙏

3 days old, not on the side I sleep on, Curved barbell, internally threaded,not downsized. I clean it in the morning with a saline wash, after a shower with warm water and saline wash again at nighttime. I don’t pick crusties/blood, I let them come off when I saline wash.

what is this hole and what should i do? (tw blood)
hi guys. i’m assuming that that’s hole is the old eyebrow piercing (it was like 3,5 years ago) and sometimes it does something like this (a little bag with pus and blood) but it’s never THIS big and it never leaves this hole, i’m kinda scared lol… i’ll try to get an appointment and ask a piercer about this, but maybe i can do something before the appointment?

Quintuple forward helix! New piercing day
New additions are the 4th and 5th forward helixes. The hoop in the vertical/hidden helix is a snug fit but not too tight and in a fully healed piercing. It is being closely monitored in case swelling from the new additions impacts it :)

Help! Is my navel piercing rejecting?
I’ve had it for 4 months now and I’ve had some accidents at work where I’ve hit my stomach(not too hard). I’m really upset because the top hole has become an open wound and it was healing so well prior to that. I’ve been cleaning with saline solution but is there anything I can do to heal. Please tell me there’s hope to this because I don’t wanna take it out

Mantis piercing(PHOTO IS NOT MINE!)

I’ve been thinking about getting the mantis piercing (paired forward nostrils, see photo) and was wondering if there’s any specifics I should know going into it. Like is there a proper anatomy id need to have? What can I expect during the healing process?(is it similar to normal nostril piercings) Would flat back studs be the best jewelry option to start? Would they interfere with a septum piercing? Any personal experiences from those who have it or info is much appreciated, thank you in advance!
