Our last painting big workshop with Andrea Chebeleu Andrea Chebeleu was such a hit, we decided to do it again!
Many of you ask about the green painting above our couch or the pink one with the māk logo…”I want to do THAT”. Now you can! Whether you frame your art as-is or chop it up and make cards or journal pages, Andrea will show you how to go big…quite literally…
We will paint on paper but you’re welcome to bring a canvas up to 20x20 if you are feeling brave and have a desire to hang your art when finished.

You’ll learn some color theory along the way…and leave with your own (big) masterpiece.

✨ Make Your Own Oregon Black Walnut Charcuterie Board ✨

Each maker gets to hand‑select their own gorgeous slab of Oregon Black Walnut — every board has its own grain, personality, and little quirks waiting to be revealed.

We’ll chisel off the bark, sand everything buttery‑smooth, and finish with our complimentary homemade board‑butter waxing kit (yep, you get to take that home too — complete with care instructions). By the end, you’ll walk out with a fully finished, ready‑to‑use charcuterie board you crafted yourself.

Each board is approximately 8” wide × 16” long × 1” thick — the perfect size for snacks, spreads, and showing off at your next gathering.

Another beginning sewing class with Shelly Figueroa. This time, we will be making envelope pillows in a 20 x 20 size. You will bring your sewing machine, thread and fabric, Shelly will bring the expertise, guidance and pep talk.
Basic machine knowledge is required. If you have questions prior to signing up, please feel free to call or messages here.
This class is second in a regular series of beginning and intermediate sewing classes for adults and children. This class is appropriate for adults, only. Space is limited. We can’t wait to sew with you!

You asked for it, and now we present to you our first stained glass class at māk, plant style!!

In this 2 hour class with William of Hypmatizarism Glass, you will make your own stained glass plant with pre-cut and ground leaves to create your own unique arrangement of leaves to capture and refract light. You will gain guided experience with soldering technique, learn how to frame with lead came, how to solder tinned copper wire, and how to clean and polish stained glass.

Class may run over depending on individual pace.

All materials included. Due to the nature of this class, minimum age is 18

Ready to finally learn your sewing machine? Spend an inspiring evening with Shelly as she teaches you the basics and helps you create a custom tote bag you’ll actually use. You’ll bring your favorite fabric, learn how your machine works, and sew your way through a simple, satisfying project.

Shelly makes beginners feel instantly comfortable — she breaks everything down clearly, keeps the pace easy, and celebrates every win. You’ll leave with new skills, new confidence, and a handmade tote that feels like you.

Bring your machine, fabric, and thread. We’ll handle the rest.

This class is the first in a growing lineup of sewing workshops for adults and kids, with fresh sessions being added all month. It’s a great time to jump in and start your sewing journey.
