I love to take Sunday drives around my hometown in rural Wisconsin. With the windows down and nothing but wide open spaces in front of me, there is nothing more relaxing. During one of my Sunday drives I noticed a large vibrant painting on a barn. I t
ook a picture and decided to do little research, I learned that this painting was called a barn quilt. More and more of these barn quilts began to pop up on my Sunday drives and I continued to admire their unique beauty from afar. During the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020 I was looking for a hobby and found myself daydreaming of those beautiful barn quilts. I decided to try and make my own smaller version for our barn. I received so many complements on my barn quilt and was encouraged by family and friends to sell them. One year later, I finally decided to open my own shop and share my barn quilt creations with the world!
