Spooky Season is officially upon us. 🎃🕷👻 And I'm so excited for it! So, in preparation for it, I created my dream Halloween Design Board for our Living room. I wanted to create something that captured a bit of the Spirit of Halloween, and a space that was, you guessed it, warm and cozy. I have to say, I loved how it turned out!

I love how this tiny piece, makes a big difference in our kitchen. It's so simple, but it makes our kitchen feel warm and cozy, and ready for autumn. 🧡

How cute is this baby nursery concept idea??? I created this project for my sis in law.

This concept project is called, 'A Koality Nursery'. 🐨🌿 I absolutely love creating nurseries! They are one of my favorites! Some of my favorite things about this nursery are the koalas, eucalyptus and sage green.

What's your favorite about this nursery?

Kicking off the fall solstice with a dark and moody bedroom interior. I had so much fun creating this space and experimenting with a darker color palette. 🖤🌚🎃🕷

A living room refresh that I've been working on. ☺ For this refresh, I wanted to create a cozy space with things that we already had, while adding a little bit of color and texture with other items. I didn't want anything too drastic, because I wanted this to be a budget friendly refresh.

I have two ideas that I had for the refresh, a grey speckled rug, and a black diamond rug. (Swipe or scroll to see). 👀

Which refresh is your favorite? (My personal favorite is the grey speckled rug. It ties the room together perfectly). ⚫🖤

Some of you may have noticed that I have changed my name from, 'Emmie Lu Design' to 'Little Seal Interiors'. And perhaps, you're wondering, "why?" For a while now, I've been contemplating my, 'why?' Why am I doing an online E-Design service? Why am I trying to make a bit of extra income? Why am I wanting to pursue this path? And I had ONE big reason for my why. I am doing this for him, for my little guy. Which is why I renamed my business after him.

I wanted to be able to stay home with him, while also pursuing what I love, Interior Design. After completing his nursery and our bedroom, I had rediscovered my love for interior design, so much, that I enrolled in a few courses at University. I was able to learn so much, and I realized that I wanted to help others make their dream space into a reality. My goal as a designer, is to make a space that is warm and inviting, I want to make a space that you will LOVE! One that you want to call home. So, if you need some help designing your space, or know someone who would like help designing their space, please send them my way, or feel free to share! I would love to help create their dream space!

A family that has a bookshelf styled together, stays together. When styling our shelves, at first. I wanted everything a certain way, and I wanted to achieve a certain look. But then I realized it wasn't just my shelves, it was everyone's. So, when I was styling them, I kept that in mind. Now our shelves have a bit of everyone on them. Especially my LO'S rock and pinecones collection he recently started. And I'm loving how it turned out! 💕
