For years I got compliments on my Oogie Boogie art piece that I pull out for Halloween and asked where and how I got it. Well I made it! So I figured it was time to make another and document the process to help inspire others. It’s fairly simple, just takes some time and it’s really affordable for a big dramatic piece you can pull out year after year

The final part and reveal of my Oogie Boogie art!
What I love about this project is that you could make anything! Doesn’t have to be Oogie Boogie- you could do a Christmas outline of some kind…. Which maybe I’ll test out next month. The smaller the board the less time it will take you as well. This board is at least 6 feet and I had to tackle it in small chunks while my babies napped or late at night. But it is something we will keep forever and pull out every October for a dramatic living room transformation. Happy spooky season everyone!

Next up I’ll be showing how I’m building a custom pumpkin arch for the front of my home. Follow along to see 🎃

This is the perfect weekend activity to get out of the house and do something fall themed. The scarecrows are so creative and fun. They have a little scavenger hunt to do along the trail and booths where you can buy tasty treats.

For years I’ve been asked to make a tutorial on this Oogie Boogie art and now it’s finally time! It’s in a three part series so I could give a full in depth walk through so you can make one too. Follow to see the next steps and more Halloween DIY projects.
