Our Story

Funny thing how life just takes you in directions you never dreamed of. I was living on LI, mother of 4 kids, working a full time corporate job and just making ends meet. I was always dreaming of making changes and feeling like there just had to be a better way to make ends meet. But..... well there was always a but, for years and years there was a but. Then one day, that corporate job of 25 years, the one I had been loyal and committed to, the one that I had sacrificed countless dinners, weekends and family vacations for, decided that it was cheaper for them to replace me with less skilled workers in another country and I was laid off along with 125 other co-workers. I was devastated to say the least. This company I had given so much too over the years didn't think twice about replacing me to save a few pennies. My entire world changed in that one moment. My perspective on everything altered in the breath it took them to say "Thank you for your service but you are being laid off". Well I didn't know what I was going to do. Would I find another corporate job and start someplace new all over again??? Something inside me however just knew I would never be able to put my heart and soul into working another corporate job again and I knew if I did I would resent that. I knew then I had to reinvent myself, but what would I do??? Go back to school?? Funny how things happen. My eldest daughter needed a project done for school and we decided to purchase a vinyl cutter, we completed her project and then I had this machine in front of me with no plans of future use. And that is where my journey here started. I did some research to see what projects I could make with this machine and I stumbled on the concept of making these custom tumblers. Many many hours of learning and trying and failing and then succeeding is what has created the business I have here. I spend many hours planning and designing each and every cup I receive orders for. I am proud to take those things that are important to you and personalize your cup to reflect a piece of you.
