I don't want to advertise these too much because it's only June, but many of you were interested in holiday mixes now. I know a lot of people plan their handmade gifts in the summer, and those who make and sell jewelry also like to look ahead. The first and second ones are my favorites. The frosted transparent rainbow beads give off such a beautiful glow, especially in the second one (Pine Needles). I also love number 6. It's so warm and cozy. And it looks so much prettier in person. How about you? What's your favorite?

I just released the recipe for this popular Miyuki bead mix that I made a long time ago and haven't had in stock for a while. It's called Camo. The great thing about having the recipe is that you can probably find some of these colors in your stash already. And you can customize the mix to fit your personal preference. For example, I had one follower tell me a long time ago that they loved everything about this mix except for the rose/bronze bead. So in this case, you could easily leave that color out or add another color you like better.

All of my bead mix recipes include manufacturer bead numbers and the sizes each color comes in. Based on that info, I share which sizes you can make the mix in. With Camo, you can only make the exact mix in size 11/0 because one of the colors is only available in that size. But, if you leave that color out, you can make it in 15/0, 11/0, and 8/0. Lots of possibilities!

I just made my last Miyuki 11/0 seed bead mix 🥲 So I mixed up all the colors left and will be giving these tubes of beads out as free gift with every order 🙌

So here’s the plan moving forward. I have a few more Miyuki mixes to release. I’m going to releasing a bunch of striped Czech 6/0 seed beads and some Unions, which are Miyuki beads with Czech finishes. These will all be eligible under the 50% Spring Clearance sale.

Then, I will be releasing a bunch of Christmas bead mixes and Czech glass bead sets to make Christmas charms. I got a bunch of new colors for the Christmas trees, then there’s the light bulbs and snowmen. This year I created a new Christmas charm and I cannot wait to share it with you. I’m shooting for June, so stay tuned!

I will keep all inventory listed until it sells. Then, moving forward, I will only have my bead mix recipes available for a nominal fee. I’m also thinking about making my color combo tool available for free, but it depends on how much time it will take to make it valuable. So it will either be available for free or not at all 😅

So that’s my plan! Since the Christmas stuff will go fast, and I will not be restocking, I might finish up selling physical products before the end of the year. But I’ll still be checking in and managing my social media accounts, so it’s not goodbye 💕

I just released two Miyuki 3.4mm DROP bead mixes. These are tiny teardrop-shaped beads with a horizontally drilled hole at the top. I love using them at the bottom of beaded fringe earrings. The perfect accent!

I created two mixes with neutral colors that will blend well with many colors. The mixes are designed so you can try out a bunch of colors before investing in large quantities of each.

They are about 3.4 mm long and 3 mm wide. They come in 20-gram packs with about 360 beads per pack.

The first one is called Cleopatra and is a mix of white luster, duracoat galvanized gold and silver, metallic bronze, and turquoise Picasso.

The second is called Black Tie and is a mix of black, white, and crystal with a variety of finishes. The crystal rainbow beads look like tiny raindrops or icicles. So pretty!

If you didn't see my story from yesterday, I announced that I am winding down The Bead Mix. I took a few months to really think about this before I made my final decision. And I decided it's the right move for me. But I'm not going away immediately. I still have lots of inventory, including new mixes and a Christmas launch that I will be rolling out throughout the year. I am also offering my bead mix recipes for a nominal fee. I've released 9 so far and have MANY more to go. I will keep these up for as long as the sales cover my website fees. I will also keep all of my free patterns and tutorials up. I might even make more. I also created a color combination tool when I was selling single colors, and I'm trying to figure out how to make it available as well. So I'm not going away entirely. But I will not be restocking any physical products and will eventually stop selling them.

These are for your personal use. You can make and sell items with them. But please don't create and sell bead mixes with them. I will be on the lookout!
