I haven't forgotten about you! I've been super busy working on the farm but I'm also still working on designing and knitting for my new book with Donna Druchunas, and I'm doing the Steven West MKAL for the 3rd year in a row. His designs are crazy cool and so fun to knit. I learn so much every time I do one. What have you been working on?

Seed starting in September? Yep! I’m growing a number of hardy annuals and they all can survive winter just fine. So I get them going on a heated seed mat and then they’ll get grow lights before being transplanted out in October and November. This tray contains Monarda, Asclepius, Lupine and still to come, Rudbeckia, Larkspur, Stock, Nigella, Marigold and more. Fall and winter will be full of succession planting seedlings and direct sowing poppies and Ranunculus, spring bulbs and wildflowers. First though, I gotta finish double digging all the new beds.

So grateful for the improving air quality.
