💛 A little Roots update from the road!

Many of you know Donna, one of the familiar faces at Roots. She’s spending some special time in Springfield, Missouri with her dad, and her husband Bob is along for the adventure too. ❤️

The three of them have been exploring Springfield’s Route 66 Centennial Sculpture Hunt, tracking down the colorful Route 66 sculptures scattered throughout the city. The sculptures were created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Route 66 in 2026 and honor Springfield’s special place in history as the city where the famous highway was officially given the number “66.” 🚗✨

I love seeing these photos and knowing they’re making memories together while learning a little history along the way.

Have fun, Donna, Bob, and Dad! We can’t wait to hear all about your adventures when you get home. 😊

🖤 A little Farmtown Candle Company fun fact…

One of our customers recently purchased several of my handmade Black Licorice candles to take all the way to the Netherlands as gifts!

She shared that her Dutch family loves black licorice, and thought these candles would be the perfect surprise to bring to family she’s visiting on her trip. 😊

Many people don’t realize that I (Joanie!) personally make and pour every single Farmtown Candle Company candle in small batches, right here in Orland. You’ll find them at both Roots and Farmtown.

So it’s pretty amazing to think that something made in my little candle room, is now traveling halfway around the world.

Moments like this remind me how grateful I am for all of your support and for the unexpected places this small business journey can lead.
