What a project!! At some point, I will share the story and pictures of what it took to make this job happen, but in the meantime here are pictures of the finished project. White concrete with locally sourced large profile oyster shells for the bar top I recently handcrafted for Narcoossee's in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.

Measuring in at 17 feet long and over 4 1/2 feet wide, this outdoor island top will surely be the conversation piece of all of the parties to be hosted in the spectacular outdoor setting that the West family has designed and created. From the cobalt blue glass shimmering in the sunlight, to the brilliant luminosity of the incorporated glow stones in the darkness of night, to the sheer magnitude of how large the piece is, one can't help but to be enchanted.

When I first met this client and talked to them about the possibilities available for their concrete countertops, one of the things I mentioned was that I could use shells that they collect themselves as a decorative feature. They loved the idea, so they walked the beach and collected a bag of shells. I crushed their shells and a few liquor bottles for color, and this is the result...
