What is the difference between warm and cold light?
When we talk about warm light and cold light we are referring to warm and cool white bulbs. They are differentiated by the color temperature of the light they emit, measured in Kelvin (K). The cold lamp has a temperature between 6000K and 6500K and emits a bluer hue.
The hot bulb emits a more yellow tone of light and its temperature is between 3000K and 3500K.
Between these two most popular shades there is a neutral lamp, which is slightly yellowish and is between 4000K and 4500K.
In general, the higher the temperature in Kelvin of the bulb, the whiter it will be.
