If you’ve been a patron of our store for the past 10 years you’ve probably had the pleasure of meeting Michael Sears. Known as a second generation Highwayman and staying true to the highwayman way, you could catch him painting or selling his art on the side of the road.
One fine day many years ago he asked us here at Let Us Frame It if he could post up in front of our store, and if you know Michael, he was one heck of a painter and an even better salesman 😉 so we couldn’t help but say yes! Leading to more than a decade of friendship and shared joy of art, he even asked Giovanni for some Italian perspective and grammar assistance on his film titled ‘La Dolce Prospettiva.’
While jovial and outgoing, Michael was incredibly private and it is only recently that we’ve learned that he has been painting along the highway to heaven. With that we want to honor and remember him not only as a painter but as a true friend. 💙🖼️🎨🖌️💙
