I can’t stop thinking about the fireplace design for this future great room.
It’s the textures that makes this room feel so special even when it's empty. The mantel doesn’t compete with the wall —it gives it organic softness, and a visual anchor.

This is exactly why I love being involved before a home is finished. When the scale, materials, and proportions are considered together, a fireplace becomes so much more than an addition to the room. It becomes the detail the entire home is remembered for.

The biggest headache with cast stone usually happens right in the gap between the designer's vision and the installer's reality.

When a custom mantel or kitchen hood design hits the field, things like wall prep, weight clearance, and exact measurments suddenly become huge deals.

That’s the gap I fill. I spend my days bridging the design side with the actual technical ex*****on so there are zero surprises on install day.
