Borikua Bites New changed are coming SOON’ In 2009 I had this " lightbulb" moment and there was created the idea of opening my own food business.

It all started when I was about 7 years old, I remember my mom being in the kitchen prepping some veggies and, cutting up some whole chickens into individual pieces. I walked in and watched her do her thing, once we left Puerto Rico and moved to Florida is where my love for cooking and baking really blossomed. I made it my business to get in the kitchen with my mom and learn how to cook and as far

as baking goes.... well.... I am self taught! Throughout the years I learned new techniques, developed new flavors, and built a bigger connection when I am cooking or baking for friends, colleagues, family, etc.. After wrecking my mind about if I should do it or not; I ended sort of forgetting about it. Fast forward 10 years and Kasumi Treats was born.
