Butte Valley Supply Premium soil, compost & garden supplies — and a gift shop full of finds. Home of Earthworm Soil Factory in Butte County.

Butte Valley Supply is Northern California's destination for premium soil, compost, and garden supplies — and home to Earthworm Soil Factory, makers of CDFA-organic worm castings, Worm Juice Plus, and our flagship NorCal Growers Blend. Family-run in Butte County, we deliver bulk soil and compost across the region and welcome you to our retail yard at 2552 Clark Rd. Beyond the soil yard, the shop carries unique garden art, plants from Natural Process Nursery, home decor, and one-of-a-kind gifts. Whether you're filling a raised bed, building a market garden, or hunting for the perfect housewarming find — come see us. Healthy soil, healthy plants, healthy people.

Garden Blend doing what it does best 🌱

A friend from the Butte County Fire Safe Council shared these photos with us - chicks in the garden and lavender grown in our Garden Blend soil.

We love seeing our soil out in the world doing its job: supporting healthy roots, happy plants, and beautiful little moments like this.

It’s always the best part of the job seeing what people grow with our soil.

Bring one of our soil blends home to your garden, available at Butte Valley Supply / Earthworm Soil Factory🪴
