I'm sure you've all heard me say that if you see something you like that has been sold, I can almost always recreate it...with the disclaimer that due to the fact I use natural materials that I do not alter in any way, it will be done as close as possible to the original.

Two of the special orders I did over the weekend were recreations. I had done them previously and was asked to recreate them. I'm attaching pictures of the originals on the left side and recreations on the right so you can see it really can be done and come out looking very close to the original! :)

Don't ever be shy to ask if I can recreate something. I enjoy doing it...the challenge to make it as close as possible is fun for me!

Good Morning!
I've been SO busy! I've received 9 more special orders AND am getting prepared for the Valentine's Day Sale starting February 1!
I did tell you I'd post a sneak peek of Valentine Art on Monday but was unable to do that. Sometimes life and unforseen events get in the way of what my plans are!
I'm not listing prices today or adding anything to the website...just a sneak peek. Trust me, you'll want to wait til the first to order AND I am still working on a few more things! 😉 With snowmageddon in the forecast for the weekend, I have no fear I will get those done!

Good Morning!

Another frigid winter day in Orrington, Maine with snow expected late morning. I'm counting the days til Spring!

These 7 special orders (and 3 others I've been asked not to post until the recipients get them as gifts) are all heading to their new homes! Thank you all for your support!

It's a snowy, blustery Friday here in Orrington, Maine! We are hunkered down inside and have no plans to go anywhere today. The wood box is full, the wood stove is pumping out precious heat and there's a beautiful venison roast slow cooking in the oven. I'll be working some more on special orders this afternoon so I can get those wrapped up by the end of the week and start creating some new things for the website on Monday! The next special will be in time for Valentine's day, so I've got to get busy on some special creations for that!

Good Morning! Happy Monday!
Did you know that it's National Thank God it's Monday day??

It's also Chocolate Covered Cherry Day, Drinking Straw Day and Fruitcake Toss Day!

How will YOU spend your first Monday of the year? I will not be tossing any fruitcake because I LOVE fruitcake! I think I'm going to make a chocolate covered cherry smoothie and drink it through a straw then head into my studio and start working on special orders. If you are one of those on my list you will hear from me with a proof to approve by the end of the week.

No matter how you spend your day, I hope it's a great one for you!
