CANCELLATION: "Intro to Japanese Braiding", scheduled for January 9th at 5:30 p.m., has been cancelled due to instructor scheduling conflicts! We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation. The class will be offered again in February 2025. Birch Art Studio's intermittent phone and internet services have been fully restored, after much trial and error! I'm still working on getting the outgoing voice mail message properly set, but it doesn't seem to want to "take". 🙄 Guess I should go to "Plan B" ... call someone for help. 🤓 Anyhow, we ARE receiving phone messages, even though the outgoing message when you call is a "canned" one that doesn't identify us. Rest assured, if you've called 920-385-0126, that's really us!! Due to instructor (me) brief illness, I was unable to start the July Intro to Stained Glass class last night. The class has now been pushed out for one week, and will now begin NEXT Tuesday, July 16th, and run for four consecutive Tuesdays, 6 to 9 pm. But, this could be a perfect opportunity for one lucky individual out there! That's because there is ONE seat left for the class, and YOU could fill it!! LOL. Sign up before next Monday to secure your place!

Too hot to do anything outside, so I decided to work on this stained glass repair that's been waiting for me. in the basement. This piece apparently fell out of a friend's window, and three of the pieces cracked (circled). Was lucky enough to have matching glass in my stash! Made tracings of the parts to replace, then set about de-soldering, breaking and removing the broken pieces. All cleaned up and ready to go! I just need to do a little grinding and fitting to get the new pieces into place, then re-solder. Love to solve problems! Speaking of stained glass .... I have a new Intro to Stained Glass class starting on July 9th at Birch Art Studio in Oshkosh! Four consecutive Tuesdays, 6-9pm. See https://birchartstudio.com for more info and to sign up!

Had a wonderful weekend at Art in the Garden in Oshkosh! I am honored to have been accepted to show my work in amongst such stellar talent. Congratulations to all of the professional and high school award winners ... it was difficult to choose just four to vote for. Many thanks to Altrusa of Oshkosh, WI for putting on a classy, well organized event. My sales were exceptional, and I met a lot of wonderful people who I hope to stay in touch with.
