I wanted to send a quick message to my friends that I will be removing my Facebook account. In my efforts towards simplifying my life and being more mindful and present, this is one area that I’m letting go of. I will still be making car seat ponchos through Mel K Creations, but I anticipate my marketing efforts will be focused on being a part of arts and crafts fairs/events in the area. How easy is it to use? How is the fit? Do your kids walk around okay wearing them and are they able to access their hands with the design?

I wanted to post about my first creations - these beautiful car seat ponchos! I have spent the last 3 years playing around with different designs and this is what I’ve come up with through trial and error. These ponchos are a comfy and practical winter staple for toddlers and our family has used them with all 3 of our children. We love the convenience and safety the car seat ponchos offer. We can easily buckle our children up underneath them allowing us to keep them warm and safe. The ponchos are selling for $40. If you are interested, please send me a message! More creations to come!

Welcome to my page! I’m here to update you on what I’m currently working on. My vision for Mel K Creations is to share my ideas for creative solutions to everyday life. l have particular interest in sewing and painting and will create products and art based on these interests. My 3 kids are the basis of my inspirations as of late. If you have seen my previous posts, you already know that I’ve been creating carseat ponchos. These are super convenient for toddlers in the winter months to keep warm while traveling. It is easy to buckle up the child underneath the poncho so that the straps remain close to their bodies for safety. As I come up with new products, I will post about them here. Thank you for your support! I am excited to embark on this new journey.
