One piece at a time, this little idea is becoming a real business.

Charcuterie Me by Salt of the Earth is our newest venture, created in collaboration with our sister brand, sel &salt of the earth , and we’ll be bringing it to the Black State Fair for the very first time.

There are still a few finishing touches before opening day, but seeing this come together has been so rewarding.

If I had $10K to transform a room, this is exactly where the budget would go.

Not every makeover needs demolition, custom cabinetry, or all-new furniture.

Some of the biggest transformations come from layering materials, improving lighting, creating a focal point, and investing in details that make a space feel intentional.

I wanted dark and moody.

What I got was a very expensive reminder that paint colors don’t live on swatches.

The second it hit the wall next to the woodwork, I knew it wasn’t right.

So we pivoted.
