New year…a fresh start. I don’t usually make grand resolutions at the beginning of the year, but I do tend to refocus and set some small intentions to get back into the routine & rhythms of daily life. I feel the need to regroup after the hectic holiday season. I saw someone on social media asking, “who’s ready for spring?”, and while I look forward to longer days and warmer weather, I don’t want to rush through winter - cozy nights, candlelight, winter walks on the beach, soups and stews for dinner…a little bit slower pace. Share your intentions for 2025 in the comments- I’d love to hear them. Happy New Year!✨

We added this drinks station in the walk-out basement at our Lake House project, so kids in wet bathing suits had easy access to some refreshments after swimming. Bonus…the pullout drawer is a laundry hamper for wet towels. We stained the navy cabinets to allow the wood grain to show through, wallpapered the backsplash and added a water bottle filler.
