Hey all… if you were coming in just for a dolly mug we sold out. I’ll drop a new colorway mid week. Tomorrow we’re headed to Des Moines to set up a little Annie’s Barn in the Clive store called Eleven01.

Hey North Joco, Our doors will open in 913 Mercantile in Mission on Wednesday, Sept 16. The Bonine’s gutted the old place and are bringing you a new, curated experience in September.

The store will be located at 5500 Martway and open Wednesday to Sunday every week!

Construction is ongoing.

I’m setting up in the main center aisle - you can’t miss it! Row B (for Barn?). And the good news for me is that I’m going to be here for the opening of the store!

Prior dates were all in conflict with my pilgrimage to Brandi RR week in Denver but lucky for me a minor construction delay means I can be here on Day 1!!!!

The store itself will be a truly unique offering for not only Mission but really the area. It fits in sooooo well with the vibes along Johnson Drive! I’m bringing the best of Annie’s Barn to a much more convenient location for my north joco followers.

So, sept 2 don’t spend ALL your $ at the new Trader Joe’s! Save some for shopping with us at 913 on the 16th.

I have painted for 18 straight hours trying to comprehend a world without Dolly Parton. She was a constant supporting character in my life dating back to watching the Porter Wagner Show at my grandparents house. Dolly has always been there...and now that unique, creative positive force of nature is gone. This one hurts. I barely set down my paint brush when I got gut punched by the news of Tim Curry passing. Stop it.

DOLLY PARTON - legend.

Dolly came into our living room many nights via Hee Haw -- we were raised on her music. In the early 90s I got a chance to interview her when she came to KC (in a room with a bunch of other reporters).

I was glad the others were there because I was starstruck for the first time in my life. I couldn't ask one dang question.

Everytime I've been to Hawaii I always think I get it why Dolly had a home there. It is paradise.

And, name one person who had a program that gave back to kids more than her books program. She will be missed. I thought it would be a struggle for her when Carl Dean died.

Damn she was a Legend. RIP
