Our Kessler Ridge at New Longview model home includes creative uses of several historic elements from the surrounding Longview Farm property. One example? A door from the saddle horse manager's home repurposed by our designer, Sherry Worth, as a headboard!

Tour the home from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily as the Spring Parade of Homes continues through May 13. The home is located at 501 SW Haverford, Lee's Summit, MO.

Throwback Thursday: 23 years ago, New York City. I wasn’t designing homes in my first real job out of college but I was on the path to learn as much as I could about marketing, consumers and the design industry. I wouldn’t change that experience for anything!
As a parent of a college student I wouldn’t necessarily suggest taking the exact path I took but I completely understand the draw of the big city and the unknown.

This is truly one of my favorite projects ever! Took a 1970’s fireplace in desperate need of updating and created a functionally modern showpiece. The huge fireplace is opens to the family room one side and the living room on the other. Took a little time to convince my clients they needed to integrate the design as one cohesive unit since it is visible from so many parts of the house. We made a great team! Thank you Bruce McCullough of Olive Branch Remodeling. The end result is a work of art!

Take a moment to view our new Cardinale plan at the beautiful Kessler Ridge at New Longview community. Located in Lee’s Summit on the historic Longview Farms property I was thrilled to incorporate some historic Longview Farms artifacts into the model. I want to personally thank Shelli Enyeart Reeves for being my right hand during the model set up. Couldn’t have done it without her. Enjoy!
