Summer break is great until day eleven when every toy has been played with, everyone's hot, and nobody knows what to do.

We have a suggestion.

🌿 Is it just me, or does Chimichurri make literally everything taste like a 5-star meal? 🤤

If you’re still only putting this garlicky, herby green gold on steak, we need to talk. Chimichurri is the ultimate culinary cheat code, and it deserves a spot in almost every meal you make.

Here are 5 ways I’m leveling up my cooking with it this week:

The Ultimate Marinade: Toss your chicken or shrimp in it before grilling. The acid from the vinegar tenderizes the meat while the herbs lock in the flavor.

Roasted Veggie Upgrade: Drizzle it over hot roasted potatoes, carrots, or cauliflower straight out of the oven. Game changer.

Breakfast MVP: Spoon a little over fried eggs or fold it into an omelet. Move over, hot sauce.

The Grain Bowl Savior: Swirl it into quinoa, rice, or farro to instantly delete any blandness.

Better-Than-Takeout Sandwiches: Mix a spoonful into mayonnaise for the most incredible spread your turkey club or veggie wrap has ever seen.

GMA ran a segment recently on something called ""fun-starved"" — the idea that Americans are so burned out, so budget-conscious, and so mentally depleted that they've stopped doing things that are just purely, genuinely fun.

We thought about that a lot. And then we looked around our kitchens.

The people in here aren't thinking about their inbox. They're not doom-scrolling. They're elbow-deep in pasta dough, laughing at something that just went sideways, and about to eat one of the best meals they've made in their life.

Turns out the kitchen is a pretty good cure for fun-starved.

Rainbow Summer Rolls: Use rice paper wrappers (kids love the "magic" of dipping them in water to make them soft) and fill them with shredded carrots, cucumbers, mango, and purple cabbage.

Nothing beats the taste of summer like a bowl of strawberries picked straight from the garden! 🍓✨

There’s a world of difference between store-bought and homegrown—the color is deeper, the scent is sweeter, and they’re actually warm from the sun when you pop them in your mouth. No food miles, no plastic packaging, just pure, juicy goodness.

Today’s harvest plans:
