Last week, Brooke and Hilary had a fantastic time at the Northeast Kansas Library System Directors Retreat! They were honored to present "Reimagining a Library,” a session focused on helping library directors creatively rethink their spaces to overcome common challenges and better serve their communities. ✨

The learning didn’t stop there! They also gained insightful strategies from David Vinjamuri of ThirdWay Space, exploring how retail marketing principles can drive engagement and boost circulation in libraries. 📈

Big thanks to NEKLS for hosting such a meaningful and energizing event. We’re always inspired by the library leaders shaping the future of public spaces!

It’s Red Friday in Kansas City!

As we gear up for the Chiefs’ first game, our team is celebrating more than just football, we’re celebrating community.

At bcDESIGNGROUP, giving back is part of who we are. We’re proud to offer paid volunteer time, giving our team the opportunity to support the charities and causes close to their hearts. Today, our founder, Brooke, along with friends Megan and Sarah, used some of her volunteer time to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City, selling Red Friday flags to raise money and help families when they need it most. Let’s go, Kansas City!

New chapters are coming to the Spring Hill + De Soto Libraries!

Our Johnson County Library Spring Hill and De Soto library projects were featured in the Johnson County Post! These branches mean so much to their communities and while a temporary closure will be tough, we couldn’t be more excited about introducing the communities to their improved branches! We’re thrilled to be part of their story.

Good morning, Hurricane, Utah! Those footings are looking good on you!

Our newest Family Entertainment Center, Coral Cliffs Entertainment, is officially coming out of the ground at the base of the Hurricane Cliffs and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

This destination will bring endless fun to the community with:

Bowling
Arcade
Restaurant
Event spaces
Family games
VIP bar

We can’t wait to watch this project rise and become a space where families and friends can gather, connect, celebrate, and create memories. Stay tuned! This is just the beginning!

A big thank you to our summer interns, Meagan and Aidan, for all their hard work with the team this summer!

Meagan is heading into her final year of her Master’s program, which she’ll be completing in Paris, taking classes during the first semester and an internship in the second.

Aidan is beginning his 5th and final year in the Master of Architecture program at K-State.

We wish them both the best in their next chapters! 👏
