I would like to wish everyone out there a Very Merry Christmas! The year is coming to an end, and I would like to thank all of our customers this year for allowing us to continue following our dream of making as many floors look new again as possible! We are hoping to keep 2026 going with the same busy schedule as this year! We look forward to helping our existing customers, as well as meeting and helping new customers in the new year!

We had the pleasure the help these wonderful homeowners add 2 1/4 red oak select and better hardwood floors to their master bedroom and closet, to match what was put in the home many years ago when they had it built! The room originally had carpet in it, and they had removed it themselves before we came in! They had debated what color they wanted to finish these new floors, whether to match their existing, or to change up and do a darker stained color, so we applied 4 different color samples for them to look @. They decided that they liked the natural color the best in their home. In 4 days, this room really made a major change for them. Now they can get a good nights sleep again knowing that they have a top of the line hardwood floor underneath them! We had the pleasure of helping Bullocks Hardwood Bobby to install this 5 inch wide #2 character grade knotty pine, then we sanded and finished it with a natural oil based polyurethane. This is one of the best looking character grade floors out there right now! Not bad for a few day turn around time.

This week we had the pleasure of helping the new owners of this beautiful home restore their Hickory hardwood floors back to their natural beauty. Someone had “covered” these beauties with a “pickled” or white washed stain, then put a waterbase finish over top of the stain. As you can see, the floor had turned an ugly yellow color and it hid all of the natural variations of the hickory wood. We sanded them back bare, then applied 3 coats of a commercial grade oil based polyurethane to seal them without hiding all of the knots and grain!

Another happy customer today! This floor had some really old shellac and wax on it, along with a few stains. We had to grind it all off with a 16 grit sandpaper before starting our normal sanding process! But the stains all came out and this floor looks brand new again!

It’s amazing what a few hours of hard work can produce! These home owners had a bedroom that had been stained with a Minwax gunstock stain and they did not like the color. So we came in and sanded the floors back bare, and finished them with a natural oil based polyurethane to match the other existing floors in the home!

This was a fun project! These floors had been covered with carpets, the home owner removed the carpets and found these gorgeous 2 1/4 red oak rift and quartersawn original hardwood floors! They had an early american stain on them. The home owner wanted to brighten the areas up some, so they chose to go back with the natural color to show the beauty of the grain in these floors!

A fun little project this week that we helped a local friend with! They had removed some walls from this 1950s home to open up their view, & we patched in the areas where the walls had originally been, then refinished the floors back to their natural beauty!
