BIG news to share!
I am joining forces with Emily Abell of and going to work for James Mitchell of exclusively. We are super excited to be the first custom home design/build team in the area. MC Homes has recently added a lot of new talent to the team and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of it all!!

Hi Everyone, I wanted to introduce myself to anyone new here! I am Heather Butterbaugh, owner & designer for HSB Interiors. Design is my passion and it has been for as long as I can remember. I love getting to create new spaces and even more so, I love to renovate older spaces! I studied interior design at the University of Louisville, where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. I began my career working in the design department at A&K Construction before opening HSB Interiors in May of 2017. Being a wife and mom are pretty cool in my book, too! 📸: Justine Klope Photography

I was involved on the front end of this design, space planning and drawing up a visual. The night photo is actually the rendering! And wow, did the client ever follow through with finishes!! Great job Sarah Stewart Holland, it is stunning!

These cream cabinets are gorgeous and a lovely take on achieving that “all white” kitchen look but with a warmer feel. Swooning over the brass hardware too!

Talk about a total 180! Take a look at this before and after!! I worked with the homeowners on the conceptual design of the new exterior and they executed it to perfection! Pictured you can see the design I drew up, the before and the very impressive after with just a few final touches to go. I am super proud of all they accomplished! Thinking of making any changes in 2020? I'd love to assist you!

Congrats to on their ribbon cutting, they are now open for stay!! I am happy to have been a small part in this project. Collaborating with the owners on some conceptual ideas they were able to run with. Executed beautifully!! Check out their page to see more photos of the finished space!
