Update on the $20 treasure chest...
Well, it's going to take some work to get my money back. 😂
Most of the stuff is from the 2000's. I did find some vintage Christmas lights, but guess what??? None of them work... 😁🤷
At least I had a blast going through it! 😁❤️

I bought an aluminum Christmas tree the other day and it came with this color wheel. I paid a little more than I would have since the color wheels are hard to find. Unfortunately, the wheel didn't spin. It lit up but the spinning part was broken. I was super disappointed...
Well, today I decided to see if I could fix it. I didn't have much hope since it's almost impossible find parts for these. When I got it apart, I found that there was a broken gear. Literally broken in two with a missing piece. Fortunately, I had a couple tricks up my sleeve and now it works!!!
I love fixing, restoring and repairing old vintage Christmas items to keep them from going into the trash!!! There no replacing most of this stuff...
