This is the last weekend for fresh flowers, frost did come this past week! This weekend you can find our flowers and dried flower pumpkin arrangements at Blue Wall C***r & W**e Long Stone Farm Rt 9 Market Saturday and Sunday 11-5 at 40614 Charles Town Pike, Paeonian Springs, VA 20129

If you would like a custom dried flower pumpkin arrangement please reach out! I will also be working on some more dried flower wreaths, there’s already a couple at the farm store. Also I will be prepping for the holidays and starting to make dried flower ornaments! I will be at the Purcellville Main Street Market 12/5 and the Town of Purcellville Holiday Market 12/12 and outside of those times they will be available at the tasting room.

CALL TO ACTION:

if you’ve been following any of the transmission line/energy updates, there is a lot happening.

There is one easy action to be taken to oppose the potential Dominion and NextEra merger. If this merger is successful, it will make it easier for them to take our land. If you are a Dominion or NextEra customer, you should definitely care about this. All of Virginia should care about this as well as surrounding states.

Please use the following links below to tell the SCC that you oppose the Dominion NextEra merger BEFORE THIS DECISION IS MADE.

Submit written comments to the Virginia State Corporation Commission under Case PUR-2026-00112 by November 12, 2026. Contact your state legislators and the governor’s office. Demand answers about electricity costs, transmission infrastructure, private property rights and rural preservation.

SCC Public Comments:
https://www.scc.virginia.gov/case-information/submit-public-comments/

Merger Proceedings:
https://www.scc.virginia.gov/about-the-scc/dominion-nextera-merger-updates/

Transmission Line Proceedings:
https://www.scc.virginia.gov/consumers/public-utility/electricity-faqs/transmission-line-projects/

Life is so busy, I know this feels overwhelming and that you don’t wanna have to deal with it. We have to deal with it whether we want to or not, and if you’re willing to comment on the opposition of the merger and email and contact your state representatives it is going to help us all.
