Field Update | A1A & Hammock Beach

Four job sites, four different stages of construction.

Here’s a look at just a few of the custom homes we currently have underway, two along A1A and two in Hammock Beach.

Across these projects, you can see several stages of the building process happening at once: block completed, windows and doors going in, roof dry-in and tile installation progressing, and exterior finishes beginning to bring each design to life.

One of our Hammock Beach projects is nearing the finish line, with paint complete and pavers, landscaping, shutters, and exterior details transforming the home from a construction site into the finished design our clients envisioned.

There’s a lot happening in the field right now, and even more taking shape across our other Saltwater Homes projects throughout Flagler County.

10-foot sliding doors + tall ceilings — it’s a combination you’ll see in many of our homes for a reason.

Both are standard in our builds, and together they have a way of making the entire home feel bigger, brighter, and more connected to the outdoors. It’s one of those details that has become a Saltwater Homes signature.

This 10-foot slider was recently installed at one of our homes under construction in Hammock Beach, opening the main living space up to the covered lanai and golf course views beyond.

When this is the view on the other side, the bigger the glass, the better. 🌴

A decorative range hood is one of those details that can completely change the look of a kitchen. By carrying the cabinetry finish up and around the hood, it becomes an architectural feature rather than just another appliance—giving the entire space a more custom, built-in feel.

Here, the oversized hood pairs beautifully with the soft gray cabinetry, countertops, and glossy subway tile backsplash. Add in the gas range, polished hardware, statement lighting, and plenty of natural light, and the result is a kitchen that feels bright, layered, and anything but basic.

A standout feature that brings the whole kitchen together. ✨

Field Update Friday from Hammock Beach 🌴

Scaffolding is up, stucco is complete, and paint starts next week. Inside, drywall is complete too—which means we’re officially moving into the fun part: finish work.

From here, the details start coming together and this house begins to look a whole lot more like home. More progress to come!

We love imagining how our clients’ homes will look once they’re decorated and lived in. For this home we built in Palm Coast Plantation, we love the idea of timeless coastal decor with natural textures, soft neutrals, and pops of blue that complement the blue kitchen island just beyond the living room.

It’s always fun to see the finishes selected during the building process become the foundation for a home’s finished style. 🪸

A first look at one of our newest custom homes coming to The Conservatory. ✨

This new custom home will span 4,444 square feet, with a floor plan that has some seriously great features. A few of our favorites: his-and-her dens, a butler’s pantry plus a separate food pantry, and a dedicated golf cart garage.

Now comes the best part, bringing it to life.

We're loving the progress on this custom fireplace wall, complete with built-in cabinetry and timeless coastal details. It's one of those features that instantly makes a house start to feel like home, and we can't wait to see it finished.
