Some places exist only for a moment.

A luminous plane leans into the darkness, balanced between shelter and uncertainty. Its sharp geometry suggests a destination, while the surrounding void leaves the journey unresolved.

Like much of life, we rarely see the entire path ahead. We move toward what light reveals, trusting that the next step will appear when we arrive.

Light Study III

Light descends like a curtain, revealing traces of structure hidden within the dark. What appears solid becomes temporary, held together only by reflection and memory.

There are moments when light doesn’t simply illuminate—it transforms.

A surface becomes a threshold. A shadow becomes architecture. What once felt permanent begins to dissolve, leaving behind only the quiet evidence that something was there.

For me, these studies are less about buildings than about perception—how light can momentarily reveal what memory struggles to hold.

A quiet beginning.

A solitary column of light rises from darkness, steady and unwavering. Beneath it, a handful of simple forms suggest that every structure—physical or emotional—begins with a single moment of hope.

This is the first piece in my Light Studies series, an exploration of light, architecture, and the spaces between memory and possibility.
