Wow, you all showed up for the MB last weekend! We so enjoyed seeing you all. We will be back again this weekend, more on that later, but the question we kept hearing was "How's the pumpkins?" So far, so good! Devyn says there are a ton of pumpkins hiding in her beautiful, green field and they're starting to ripen up! She is keeping the deer out, keeping them watered, and very soon she'll be trucking in loads of fat, flat, warty and every imaginable color! She's aiming for Sept 12th for a full pumpkin display and if you're looking for those big beautiful mums, they will be here for Labor Day weekend. Mark it on your calendars!

In the latest episode of As The Milk Barn Turns we find the Barn crew busy getting ready for fall. Devyn is in a pig w**d battle in her pumpkin patch and so far, she's winning! We're testing new recipes and continue to junk, build, create, refinish, sew and prep for the time its not 130 degrees inside the Barn. We are tentatively planning on opening the Barn for fall on August 22. Until then, enjoy your summer and stay cool Milk Barn friends!

Pumpkin purveyor Devyn, here! With a new edition of the Gourd Gazette. The plants have their feet under them and are starting to vine and I have been w**ding, w**ding, w**ding. There is much yet that could happen but we have a pretty good start. Keep your fingers crossed for gentle rains and low pest pressure and I'll be picking some beautiful, fun new varieties in two short months!

How about another installment of As The Milk Barn Turns? In spite of the heat, the Barn crew has been busy! We've had fun junking in several states and have found some great junk. Following a ride on the struggle bus, the pumpkins are planted. Approximately 800 plants and 75 varieties. They are doing well. The deer gaze longingly at them from the edge of the patch, knowing not to touch Devyns hot fence. Until next time Milk Barn friends, stay cool!

Thank you, Milk Barn friends! For making the twelfth spring at the Barn the best one yet. We couldn't ask for better family, friends, or customers. We will be closed for a bit as the flowers are gone and we need to catch our breath, do some junking, and plant some pumpkins. We'll be open limited days during the heat of summer so watch here for updates. Again, thank you!

This is it folks! Time to clear the greenhouse and let Devyn get to prepping for pumpkins. This will be your last chance at plants this WEDNESDAY evening, May 27th. Bedding plants will be 70% off and her remaining combo planters will be further reduced. Come on out, fill a wagon, and get to planting!
