We have over 4,000 photos on our page, and this is photo number one that started it all. Natalie, Miranda, and Bill started the store with a passion for making decorative signs, furniture, and other various decor. Our styles and techniques have changed and upgraded a bit over the years, but the love for crafting has always remained the same. ❤️

Excuse me, but how is it August already? 🤯

Labor Day is creeping ever closer. On a normal year, it’s a busy and important time to prepare for. But this year is EXTRA important. It’s our 10 Year Anniversary of the store being open! 🤩🥳

We will be reminiscing over the month to show you crafts made from over the years, as well as showing you some of the new Fall items up our sleeves for this year. Also, as Labor Day draws near, we will be doing a promotional post in which you’ll have a chance to win a $100 gift card! Keep an eye on our page all month long to learn about the fun things we will be doing this Labor Day holiday. ❤️

Does anyone remember or own one of these lovely quilt blocks? Bill had so much fun making hundreds of these, and we still have a few lingering about the store. Let us know if you got to have one too!

Happy Monday, everyone! The store is all put back together after a nice weekend at the Hanover Farmers Market. We enjoyed all of the customers we met there. 🥰

We wanted to give you a look at the store and what’s still available. This week, we begin our journey preparing for our Fall crafting season. In addition to the big season ahead, we are so excited to announce that it’s our 10 Year Anniversary of the store. It’s crazy how time flies! We will be doing many special events during our town’s annual Palmer Labor Day holiday, as that’s when our store kicked off its grand opening back in 2016.

It might be quiet on our page for a little while here now, but we will keep you updated when everything is ready! ❤️

Good morning! We will be open today, but we will also be gathering things out of the store to load up into the trailer as the day goes on. So if there’s something you’d like to get before we are closed for the weekend, we recommend coming in sooner rather than later.

As a reminder, we will be set up in Hanover on Saturday, July 4th for the Hanover Farmers Market. There will be a nice spread of vendors to stop by and enjoy! 🤗❤️

Happy Friday everyone! We wanted to update you and let you know that there are four calendars left in the store for this upcoming weekend. You will be able to catch us in Palmer this weekend and next week, Monday-Thursday.

However, we will be closed next Friday (July 3rd) and Saturday (July 4th) and will be set up in Hanover on the 4th! So we hope to see you today or tomorrow in Palmer. ❤️🇺🇸

It’s almost July! Crazy right? 🤯 Did you know this year is the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence? That means we need to go all out on decorations! ☺️🇺🇸

We still have firecrackers, mini signs, stars, and other miscellaneous decor to spruce up any shelf, table or mantle piece.

Just as a friendly note, we will be closed July 3rd and 4th at the store, but we will set up shop at the Hanover Farmer’s Market in downtown Hanover on July 4th for the Days of 49. We hope to see you there!

P.S. - We can’t get over how cute these calendars are. 🥰

For those of you that don’t know, our store is a family-owned business in which the love of crafting has been passed down for a couple of generations now.

Our grandfather (Bill’s father), Delmer, loved crafting. He made all sorts of wonderful creations both for himself and for others. Since childhood, I have always loved the wooden calendar he made which was similar to many back in the day. I knew I had to make it.

Seeing his creations was fun, but until I started making crafts myself, I don’t think I fully appreciated the skill and effort my Grandpa put into his work. This calendar is no exception. I started this project with a simple expectation of just quickly replicating a fun craft that my Grandpa made. However, the “quickly” expectation was quelled once I began.

These calendars were laborious, but truly a labor of love. All the numbers, designs, and months were hand painted. There were a few hand cramps along the way, but we managed to complete seven calendars in total. These seven will be the only calendars that enter our store, so if you have any interest in having one, we recommend coming before it’s too late.

We truly hope you enjoy the crafts we make at Peats Creek Trading Co. Just know these crafts are centered in fun and love for what we do. Thanks for always being supporters of this business of ours! ❤️
