Well we had perfect weather for the 3rd Annual Lord of the Wings and SCA Competition in Soldotna, AK!

To start Thank you to Jack and Carey Foster for hosting such a great event especially on their 55th Anniversary! Congratulations that is amazing!

Friday evening we started with a Peach Bourbon Jalapeño glazed wing, tough night on wings we ended up 8th. Will be practicing wings for sure!

Saturday we did Anything Salmon and two Steaks.

We did Crispy Cajun Salmon Tacos - took 4th

Steak A - 9th (definitely not our best showing, texture was a little off)

Steak B - 4th (was pretty happy with this steak)

Amazing weekend overall in a great venue with great people! Kids cooks did great, it is always alot of fun seeing them get involved and be eager to learn. I enjoy being part of the kids comp and seeing them figure things out while asking a few questions! Had the pleasure of meeting the overall points leader for Steak in the country, Nick Copeland, hope to see you back up here! Maybe we can do some fishing!

Congrats to all who heard their name called! Looking forward to next year already!

Wings! Everyone loves wings! We did a Peach Bourbon Jalapeño glazed wing this year. Judging turned in and people’s choice just finished. Waiting to find out the results!

On the way to Lakeside Falls SCA competition in beautiful Soldotna, AK! Wings tonight, tomorrow is 2 steaks and salmon! Should be a lot of fun and the weather appears to be holding at a perfect 66°!

No doubt this will be a great class!

It's finally here!

Our 2026 LC BBQ Online Competition Class goes live today at 11:00 AM (CT) at www.lcbbqshop.com.

We're starting with a limited release, giving a small group of customers early access before opening it up to everyone next week.

We filmed the entire program at the end of May, and since then we've gone GC, GC, GC, RGC, GC.

This class includes over 8 hours of professionally filmed content, featuring multiple camera angles...from meat selection and trimming to injections, cooking, fire management, turn-ins, and more.

We're excited to finally put everything we've learned at your fingertips, and we can't wait to see what you accomplish with it.

Very special thanks to Rolling Smoke Productions and Zoetic Rhythm for all the hard work and making this project come to life better than imagined!
