Today's post comes with a whole lot of excitement, a pinch of disbelief, and a heart that feels about ten sizes bigger.

This year, my business has been nominated for not one, not two, but THREE “Best Of” categories. 🤯

Four and a half years ago, I turned on a laser for the very first time with no clue what I was doing… and now here we are. Watching something that started as a “let’s see what happens” grow into something people recognize, support, and believe in… that’s the kind of full-circle moment that sneaks up on you and just sits heavy in the best way.

Being nominated means more than just a name on a list. It means you—my customers, my supporters, my cheerleaders—love what I create. It means the late nights, the sawdust, the trial-and-error (and error… and error 😅) have turned into something meaningful.

Last year, we took home Best Specialty Store, and I would absolutely LOVE to make it two years in a row… maybe even bring home another category or two while we’re at it. No pressure, right?

And now comes the part where I humbly (and maybe slightly dramatically) ask for your help…

If you’re at The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime today and happen to see this amazing woman… make sure you wish her a BIG Happy Birthday!

Truth is, I couldn’t do what I do here without my mom. Not even close. She’s the behind-the-scenes magic, the steady hands, and the reason so much of this all comes together the way it does.

In fact, a lot of you probably know her before you ever knew me… and that says everything. From sanding pieces for hours, to running the booth… she does it all and then some.

So if you see her today, show her some love… she more than deserves it!

Tomorrow we’re setting up at the Anna Maria Community Farmers Market from 9–2 at Roser Church, and I’m already counting down the hours.

This market isn’t just a place to shop… it’s a whole vibe. The kind where you wander a little slower, talk a little longer, and somehow leave with both your hands full and your heart even fuller. The vendors here are some of the absolute best around—creative, passionate, and pouring so much love into what they bring each week. And the market manager? Truly next-level amazing, the kind of person who makes the entire space feel welcoming, organized, and full of life.

If you’ve never been, this is your sign. Come stroll, come snack, come discover something you didn’t even know you needed. And of course… come find me and see what I’ve been creating lately. I promise, the hype is real.
