SOLD. Period Tall case Dallaway & Son grandfather clock w/ original works, weights, pendulum. They were based in Edinburgh, Scotland and were prominent in the late 18th to early 19th century, primarily known for producing white dial grandfather clock dials rather than complete clocks. Active around 1785-1812, they supplied dials for many Scottish longcase clocks, a role similar to Wilson and Osborne in Birmingham for English clocks. *Some tightening up and surface work was done to the case. It looks great and remains original. Everything is there for a clock guy to get it running, minus some of the weight cable. Non- running at this time. The glass has a few cracks but appears to be wavy original. Height 82” w/ finials.
